After visited flood location at Pluit, North Jakarta, the Jakarta Vice Governor continued his impromptu visit (blusukan) to the refugee camp at Rawa Buaya, Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

Djarot along with West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Effendi directly monitored the flood victim's condition at Victoria Residence Duta Indah Complex. "Generally, the service in this refugee aid post is going well. We also asked the Police and Military (TNI) to guard the citizen's abandoned house," said Djarot at the location, Tuesday (2/10).

Djarot added, the refugee aid post quality cannot be seen from the outside, but from the optimal service that given to the citizens. "We cannot see the post quality from the outside, but from its function runs or not," he added.

He mentioned, the good service can be assessed from some criteria as the flood supply, medicine stock, clothes, and the rest room for the flood victims. "We need to create good cooperation to give the optimal service," he continued.

Djarot also explained, besides focusing in flood victim's condition, the water pumps also need to be monitored so it can be ensured to work optimal. Then, the sluice gate and reservoir at the area should be checked to prevent it not to breach. "We need to check it all, because the two days rain has high intensity. If we do conversion, the two days rain is same as the one month rain," he uttered.

Later, Djarot stated, the water pump in the capital should be separated by Electric State Company generator. So, the water pump can continue to operate even the electricity turned off in citizen's settlement.
